Compliance & Modeling Reports
New technology proposals and installation of radiofrequency RF devices often cause public concern due to the uncertainty over their operation and their possible effects that their operation may have on public health. Devices need to be calibrated to assure accuracy. Calibration simply means comparing setting with a known value based on national standards. Radiofrequency RF devices need to be calibrated and compared to make sure their output is within current guidelines. Equipment is calibrated to a NIST standard. NIST stands for the National Institute of Standards and Technology. This measurement standards laboratory is a non-regulatory agency of the United States Department of Commerce, which promotes innovation and industrial competitiveness. Testing is done to show that devices are compliant with radiofrequency (RF) power density and exposure limits. This information is contained in modeling reports. Here is a sample image of a modeling report.
